Children’s Author Eric Carle Passed at age 91

Eric Carle – Birth: June 25, 1929; Death: May 23, 2021

In my books I try to counteract this fear, to replace it with a positive message. I believe that children are naturally creative and eager to learn. I want to show them that learning is really both fascinating and fun.

Eric Carle passed on May 23rd, 2021 at age 91. His death was a result of kidney failure. Carle lived a long and impactful life. The author’s books have been read by preschoolers across the world.
